Public Health Sector works. (November 2022)
The remodelling in another one of London’s well-known hospitals found us involved with groundworks to facilitate a concrete plinth platform for new sprinkler system tank to the new wing construction.
The works was in a very isolated area adjacent to a high dependant call centre team where noise really affected their works.
We had to utilise an acoustic tent to minimise the breaking of the original foundation alongside no noise time during the peak times.
Notwithstanding this challenge we were also excavation extremely close to a Victorian Bridgetown main drain which required a ground vibration monitoring strategy system to ensure we stopped if the ground was too affected.
This was planned with the team leader and strictly adhered to with a successful outcome.
