Crane Preparation Works

Public Health Sector works. (February 2023)

We were fortunate enough to assist with the crane preparation works for the public health sector remodelling in one of London’s well-known hospitals.

The ground preparation works in a loading bay area was to facilitate the stability of two large cranes undertaking major lifting works to a land locked vicinity of the building.

Working closely with the client team our works consisted of excavating eight number 4/5m3 pads for a 400-ton crane that were bulk filled with high strength concrete. These concrete pads facilitated two number cranes one of which was to erect the larger crane.

All these works were carried out over one weekend with some minor remedial tidying works on the Monday.

The client was extremely happy with the quick delivery and minimal disruption to a very busy loading bay area.
